Center Township Fire Department received two grants from UDWI REMC. The first grant awarded in the amount of $1,000 is to purchase a new skid unit for Off-Road 2. The new skid unit will have a pump, water tank, hose reel, and capabilities of transporting an injured patient. The second grant awarded from UDWI REMC in the amount of $1,600 will be used to purchase new wildland firefighting gear.  Center Township Fire Department would like to thank UDWI REMC for the grant. www.udwiremc.com Center Township Fire Department was awarded a grant from Indiana Department of Homeland Security in the amount of $4,000. The money will go toward the purchasing of pagers. Center Township Fire Department would like to thank IDHS for the grant. Center Township Fire Department was awarded a grant from FEMA in the amount of approximately $30,000. This grant money will be used to purchase new rescue equipment. Center Township Fire Department would like the thank FEMA for the grant.
